For those of you who don't feel like Aviary takes up *quite* enough of your time, we wanted to officially announce the existence of our tumblr.
If you're not familiar with tumblr, it's best described as a super-simple social blogging service. People tend to use it to post very short, funny, trending photos and news updates which can be quickly scanned through in tumblr's infinite dashboard interface and then liked or reblogged as desired. It's a great way to get a snapshot of the internet at any given moment.
As you may have noticed, we love the internet... so we've had a tumblr for quite a while. (You might remember it from this post, where we announced an integration enabling Aviary users to publish creations directly to their tumblrs.) But we recently overhauled the whole thing with a new theme and a new purpose: to inspire others with the things that inspire us.
We try to feature creative things from tumblr, art blogs we like, random internet memes of the day, and of course Aviary. Every day, we showcase one of our favorite new Aviary creations, so keep an eye out for one of yours! The creations we like the best are the ones which illustrate the potential of Aviary, and the variety of cool things people can do here.
